MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE SHOW
The evening was billed as The Michael Jackson Tribute Show with the additional benefit of providing scholarship funding for one of the valley's most adored individuals, Ms. Britanee Perkins. From the beginning of the show it was obvious the tributes would keep coming and coming. Ms. A. Bizzle, the show host and coordinator and a member of The Writeup Newspaper Team, was the perfect host.

This event was sponsored by The Writeup Newspaper. The Writeup has provider assistance in many ways to the community through it's fund raising efforts. Thanks Ms. Bizzle for all you do for the community at large. Ms. Perkins expressed her deep heartfelt appreciation for the fine efforts of The Writeup Team , the public and PHX's staff for providing assistance for her to continue her education at Arizona State University this fall.

Local Vendors pitched in to help. The Admission cost was donated. The vendors for T-Shirts and memorabilia allowed guests to have souvenirs to take home. DJ - Private was spinning the tunes and the right choice of music really was a special tribute to The KIng Of PoP, Michael Jackson.
When "Beat It" came over the airways, there was not a still body in the house. Everybody immediately reacted to the famous hit. From the parade of artists (Cecil "Homeboy" Holden, E-Tweed and Shane, Vaughn Willis and the Harvest Time Singers and many more) who crossed the stage to the emcee John, we all felt that MJ was in the house. The Bartenders knew how to make a drink! No complaints from the crowd!

Everyone had a very good time and this special event brought many out many smiling faces as the memory of the late and great entertainer, Michael Jackson, was remembered by a host of well wishers. "Many thanks to everyone for the love shown and the respect given to Michael" said one attendee.
